Privacy Policy

1. Who controls your information

The controller is Jingjiang Chongai Youjia Data Technology Co., Ltd. (靖江宠爱有家数据科技有限公司), registered at Room 8420, Building 8, Huizhi Apartment, No. 128 Xinzhou Road, Jingjiang, Jiangsu, China. Privacy questions and rights requests may be sent to sourcing@faunexis.com.

2. Information we collect

We may collect:

• business contact details, including your name, company, email, country and optional WhatsApp details;
• RFQ and project information, including selected products, quantities, target market, specifications, messages and contact preferences;
• files you choose to attach, such as logos, briefs, reference images or product sheets;
• your optional marketing preference and records needed to respect an unsubscribe request; and
• basic technical and security data processed by our hosting and delivery providers, such as IP address, request time, device/browser information and server logs.

Selected RFQ products are saved in your browser's local storage so the list persists between pages. This browser-only list is sent to us only when you submit the RFQ.

3. Purposes and legal grounds

We use personal information to:

• receive, evaluate and respond to RFQs, sample requests and sourcing enquiries, and take steps requested before entering a contract;
• communicate with you and coordinate sourcing, product development, quotations, quality, logistics and related services;
• operate, secure, troubleshoot and prevent misuse of the website based on our legitimate business interests and legal obligations;
• establish, exercise or defend legal claims and comply with applicable law; and
• send occasional sourcing updates only where you separately opt in or another lawful basis permits it. You may opt out at any time.

Where applicable law requires consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting processing already carried out lawfully. RFQ service communications are not marketing.

4. How an RFQ is delivered

A submitted RFQ is emailed to our business inbox through Resend. A concise notification is also posted to a private FAUNEXIS Feishu group so our sourcing team can respond. Permitted attachments are included in the transactional email. The website does not maintain a separate customer attachment archive, although service providers may retain operational records according to their own retention and security practices.

5. Who receives information

We disclose information only as reasonably necessary to:

• Vercel, which hosts and secures the website;
• Resend, which delivers RFQ email, and Feishu, which provides internal notifications;
• selected suppliers, manufacturers, quality, logistics or other production partners when needed to assess or fulfil your request;
• professional advisers and service providers bound by appropriate confidentiality duties; or
• regulators, courts, law enforcement or another party when required by law or to protect legitimate rights.

We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

6. International transfers

FAUNEXIS is based in China and serves international business customers. Information may be processed in China and in other countries where our service providers or project partners operate. Where required, we use an applicable transfer mechanism, contractual protections, consent or another lawful basis and take reasonable steps to require appropriate protection.

7. Retention

We generally retain RFQ records and related correspondence for up to 24 months after the last substantive interaction, unless a longer period is needed for an active project, contract, legal claim or legal obligation. Marketing preference records are kept until you opt out and a limited suppression record may then be retained to honour that choice. Technical logs are retained according to operational need and provider settings. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer required.

8. Security and sensitive materials

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system is guaranteed to be completely secure. RFQ attachments are not currently scanned by a dedicated malware service. Do not upload passwords, payment-card information, government identifiers, highly sensitive personal information, export-controlled material, or confidential designs that require an NDA. Contact us first if an NDA or secure transfer method is needed.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to be informed, access or obtain a copy, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, request portability, withdraw consent, and complain to a competent data-protection authority. You may always object to direct marketing. Email sourcing@faunexis.com with the subject “Privacy Request”. We may verify your identity and may refuse or limit a request where permitted by law.

10. Cookies and similar storage

We do not currently use advertising cookies or a production analytics provider. We use browser local storage for the RFQ selection list. Our infrastructure may use strictly necessary security or delivery technologies. If we introduce non-essential analytics or advertising technologies, we will update this policy and provide any consent controls required by law.

11. Children

This is a business-to-business service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through the RFQ service.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be highlighted where reasonably appropriate. Contact sourcing@faunexis.com or write to our registered address in section 1.
